Vladyka became acquainted with the social activities of the Diocese of Lublin of the Polish Orthodox Church aimed at supporting those affected by the hostilities in Ukraine.

He expressed sincere gratitude to Archbishop Abel of Lublin and Chełm for his constant humanitarian assistance and support to the citizens of Ukraine during this difficult time.

On the 20th week after Pentecost, Metropolitan Clement of Nizhyn and Pryluky led the celebration in honor of the Lublin miracle-working Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is located in the ancient Savior Transfiguration Cathedral in Lublin, built by Metropolitan Petro (Mohyla).

Before the miraculous image of the Mother of God, the Archpastor offered prayers for peace in Ukraine and for God's blessing for the long-suffering Ukrainian people.

Earlier the UOJ reported that the rector of the UOC community in Berlin told about the life of Ukrainian refugees.
