Prosecutor General's Office: the relics declared by Lozovoy is worth more than UAH 100 thousand
"Regarding the relics, we do not know how much they exactly cost. But the expertise showed a minimum cost of 121 thousand hryvnias," said Lutsenko.
It is reported that this angered Lozovoy. "It's sacrilege to talk about the estimation of holy things. I urge you to bow to these relics and repent," he resents.
Lozovoy in the declaration for 2015 declared a collection of wines and paintings, several watches and the 19th century furniture. In addition, Lozovoy's declaration lists a collection of 72 icons, a collection of cold weapons of the 19th and 20th centuries, and a cross-enkolpion with relics of the 13th century.
According to the PGO investigators, the owner of the holy relics inflicted damage to the state in the amount of UAH 1,846,561.1, which "exceeds the non-taxable minimum of citizens' incomes by more than 3,000 times".
