Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens congratulates new Primate of Albanian Church
The Primate of the Church of Greece has sent a synodal message to Archbishop Ioannis.
The Primate of the Church of Greece held a telephone conversation with the newly elected Archbishop of Tirana, Ioannis, reports Romfea.
During the conversation, Archbishop Ieronymos warmly congratulated Archbishop Ioannis on his election.
Additionally, Archbishop Ieronymos sent a synodal message to the head of the Albanian Church, in which he wished him a long, prudent, evangelical, ecclesiastical, and Holy Spirit-guided primatial ministry for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ and for the spiritual benefit of God’s people.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Patriarch Ilia of Georgia congratulated the new head of the Albanian Orthodox Church.
